RESTAURANTS IN COSTA BRAVA

Eating in Costa Brava will give you an authentic feel for how Spaniards truly eat on a daily basis. Lunch is the main course of the day, and you’ll find that most restaurants offer (and sometimes only offer) a “Menu del Día” lunch option that includes an appetizer, dessert and a drink.

Here are some popular, accessible restaurants in the area, and let us know what you think! You aren’t going to get cosmopolitan cuisine, so be ready for some funky stuff. But it’s part of the fun :).

If you are a die-hard foodie, there are a good number of Michelin restaurants in the surrounding area. You’ll need to book most places far in advance.

If you are available on a Saturday, please head to the town market for some nuts, snacks and cured meat! It’s always a favorite activity among groups, and you get a real sneak peek into how locals live.

La Cort

Peratellada

A lovely walled medieval town. You need to park outside of the town and walk in, but it is very worth it. The streets are ancient stone, grooved in places from centuries of carts. The town wall is perched and built into the stone.
