Girona

 Girona, with the Sant Narcis Festival that takes place in the city at the end of the month. The actual day of St Narcis is 29 October, the main day of the festivities, but events begin on 23 October and run till 1 November. There are traditional fairs, concerts, sports competitions, theatre, exhibitions, children’s attractions and most impressive of all, the diada castellera (human towers) and the spectacular Correfoc (fire run).
